Transport Story

Shirley could still feel the anger boiled inside her. She just could not forgive what her boyfriend has done and said to her. She felt regretful of not knowing how to drive a car and she thought of the cheap driving lessons that her friend has informed her few months before. Her boyfriend has begged her to come with him to the country side to attend one of his relatives wedding, which would take more than four hours drive on a return journey.

At first, she did not want to go because she has to be present in a very early meeting on the following day and she was afraid that they could not get back in time. She realized that after the church wedding ceremony, most people would get drunk. She would love to go and that was why before they began their journey, she made him promised her that they would have to limit their time at the party. He agreed.

On the way to the wedding, she was thinking that it could have been much better if she knew how to drive. It wouldn't trouble the both of them. She could just let her boyfriend stayed and enjoyed the party whereas she could go back and drive on her own. She suddenly remembered about the cheap driving lessons that her friend has told her before. Her friend has actually has an uncle who runs an independent driving school and they were offering cheap driving lessons.

When they arrived at the party, there were some groups of celebrities that she got excited for a while. However, her boyfriend was more than thrilled to see his old classmates and cousins. They were drinking and she was with the other girls, girlfriends of his boyfriend's cousins. They were having great time, but when it was time for them to leave, his boyfriend told her to wait for a while. She waited until she could not wait any longer.

She hated it so much when the cousins teased her of controlling her boyfriend. He didn't back her up instead he laughed along with them. She was humiliated when her boyfriend told her in front of them that he would send her to the bus station. She saw that he was not really drunk, but how could he say something like that when he knew she has something important to do on the next day and as if he did not concern about her safety?

They arrived home almost at dawn. She was furious and has made up her mind to contact her friend and register for the cheap driving lessons. She convinced herself that she could pass the driving and theory test easily. She did not need someone like his boyfriend who was so selfish to ever humiliate her again. She was looking forward to say goodbye to him and let him learned a lesson.
